Zambia to Host Angola in International Friendly Match
Lusaka, Zambia - 29th August, 2023
Zambia will host Angola in an international friendly match at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka on 10th September, 2023.
The match will serve as a build-up to Zambia's upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, while Angola will be using the game to prepare for their 2023 COSAFA Cup campaign.
Zambia will be without some of their key players, including Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu, who are both injured. However, coach Aljosa Asanovic is expected to give some of the younger players in the squad a chance to impress.
Angola, meanwhile, will be looking to build on their recent good form, which has seen them win two of their last three matches. The Palancas Negras will be led by their captain, Gelson Dala, who plays for Al-Wakrah in Qatar.
The match is expected to be a close affair, with both teams evenly matched. Zambia will be hoping to use the home advantage to their advantage, while Angola will be looking to prove that they are a force to be reckoned with.
Tickets for the match are on sale now and can be purchased at the National Heroes Stadium ticket office.
